Saw you guys in Bristol and loved every minute of it, genuinely. And I gotta say - the podcast the other day where you were all at home, with Dave's alarm going off, and Coldplay-gate is one of the funniest pods for a while (and it's a high bar). Was superb.
Have donated, and preordered. Good luck with both!
I was at Bristol. It was brilliant. I've ordered your book and donated. You are an inspiration. You also did a lovely Cameo for me and said kind and funny words that were much needed. Never underestimate how much you help people that you don't know and will never meet.
Tasted the York vibes in the area on Saturday. About twenty minutes in, I was conscious that my face was hurting: it’s because I hadn’t stopped smiling since you and Elis had walked on. This hasn’t happened since Citeh won the Champions’ League (tell DDave)
I am going to sponsor you for 10 steps.. doesn't sound like much when you put it like that! I'm not a runner, or even a fast walker but i'm so invested in your running it makes me quite emotional ! #mumsaremadtoo
Manchester last Friday was great. Was just what I needed at a tricky time. Good luck with the marathon training - I'll definitely donate. And I won't be buying your book, but I'll make sure that the library service I work for does, and I'll read that copy!
Yes.... and No! Read on... I'm 58, and seven years ago I joined a running club. Best thing I ever did for the old bonce. I'd recently decided to take an offer of redundancy, and went from busy office with responsibilities, to being a solo gardener. And whilst most of my old dears are lovely, our conversations over a milky tea can be a bit limited. So, running with people of all ages at the club has kept my social skills, and wellbeing, well, adequate. HOWEVER. It is my belief that RUNNING IS NO GOOD FOR YOU, particularly us late comers (and anyone who says they enjoy it is either a lier or mad). The amount of injuries I see and have experienced, is crazy. And running a marathon is just plain dumb. My physio has ranted at me on a regular basis about this. The question being...why so long a distance!! My advice is to tick the marathon box then either stick to half marathons or the odd 10K. Or, bizarrely do an ultra. They are, if you take it steady, actually kinder to the old bod. Live long and prosper. M
I was at the show in Manchester, and you can assure Elis that I did in fact have a really great time. Would love to pre-order the audiobook as well, but not via amazon/audible. Will it be available on other platforms?
I'm looking forward to reading your book and have pre-ordered a signed copy from Waterstones. Saw you, Elis and Dave in Portsmouth last night and left with my face aching from laughing and smiling the whole time. Good luck with the fundraising and your marathon training. I tried the link but an error message came up so will try again later. At 58 I am taking part in the Great South Run for the first time, not sure I'll ever be marathon fit!
Thank you so much for taking care of yourself and doing so much for others. <3 The thought of you existing somewhere in the world makes me feel so much hope and gratefulness, you would never be able to wrap your amazing head around it. But it totally makes sense to me, thank you so so much.
It seems a bit nebbish to point out a grammatical error in a heart-felt post about domestic violence, but I hope making a donation justifies my pointing out your errant apostrophe in "it's" and I thought you'd want to know.
I was at the your show in York - it was superb. Obviously I’ve ordered the book and will donate. John, you’re winning! So many wins!

Can you remember which ep? I’m after a treat.
Episode #471 from last week. Enjoy!

Thank you John for constantly lifting my mood and making me laugh and occasion shed a tear over the years. Congratulations on the book🙂

A great cause and a great run by a great guy. Happy to sponsor, nay, overjoyed!

I was at the Glasgow show. Fab night! I've pre-ordered your book. I look forward to reading it. Good luck in all you do!
When will the audiobook be available please?

I have Newcastle booked and bloody work has me down in Bristol! I feel bereft. Continue to have a blast! X

Good luck John! Love ya!
