Just listening to your article voice over after reading the text a few days ago. Absolutely love this feature, including the minor mishaps which made me chuckle and add, I think, a certain something extra.
Great stuff John. Ref your "bin smells" discussion on R5. I freeze any organic type waste that I can't compost until 'bin-day eve', then pop it into bin the night before the bin men arrive in the early am. Icy chicken bones etc don't seem to emit any detectable odour. (Well not to me anyhow but your brain may know otherwise)
Hi John, just listened to your discussion with Colin Murray and thought you were great. For someone who has been listening and enjoying your work for years, I just wanted to say I'm pulling for you and I'm proud of you. Cheers
re White Lotus, I know what you mean about no nice characters but stick with it, yes they are awful, but the whole series is so well done
Portia & Albie have some growing up to do
I couldn’t watch The English, despite good actors and really rooting for the two lead characters, everyone else was an effing psychopath, that it gave me nightmares

John, get a Miele like like your wise friend, you won't regret it! Ps, you can get discount ones from their outlet in Abingdon.

John, the SunBrun prawns...? Are you OK, lovely, bearing in mind the ol' FP (food poisoning) tends not to kick in for up to 24-72hrs)?
Great lives? Sir Bernard of Cribbins surely.
Stick with White Lotus, not sure you need to care about any of them. I certainly laughed out loud at the end.
You’re playing Warwick Arts Centre on my 40th birthday. I’ve decided that’s too bleak even for me so am going to Birmingham instead.

Get a Zanussi/Bosch/Miller. Do NOT get anything else (this is based on bitter experience)
Presumably 'Great Lives' has already done Philip Larkin? Or you can probably find another rock legend somewhere in your record collection...
Re. Any Other Business: Surely “…come-to-Clywd eyes…” should have been “…come-to-Beddgelert eyes…”!
Love the new audio option. Another John Robins podcast in my life...Yes Please!!!! Thanks for everything John. Always keeps the darkness at bay.
Yay! Just got Bristol tix! Exciting!
Thought the same about White Lotus, especially the first series, but definitely stick with it, will be worth all the tension in the end!
